Description
This new job role and training program is developed in the EU Project Idea2Enterprise.
Background
The motivation for this project proposal lies in the lack of a European-wide valid set of training modules and certification of entrepreneurial skills of young people. Europe is far from exploiting its potential of successful entrepreneurship in secondary and higher education, because it often fails to mobilize the right innovative resources and young brains.
Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship are closely linked to one another, and they are considered as the keys to a wealthy and sustainable economy. The best way to turn research into innovations is to consider key innovation factors from the earliest phases of research all along the way to products and services. Creating successful and sustainable enterprises is then the logical next step, which can be leveraged significantly by the early sensitisation of creative minds for entrepreneurship.
From Idea to Enterprise project is built on the ECQA Certified Researcher-Entrepreneur training and certification program (http://www.researcher-entrepreneur.eu/).
Training plan
The proposed project aims at delivering to innovative young minds the qualification to turn their product and service ideas into an enterprise in a successful and sustainable manner.
The ResEUr training and certification program covers all the key aspects that are associated with essential considerations upfront the process of the creation of a new enterprise, as well as with boosting the innovation power of existing companies. The aim is to transfer this program to Czech Republic, Cyprus, Italy and Portugal in order to:
support initial and continuous training of VET teachers, trainers, tutors and VET institution managers
The trainers, training organisations and certification organisation will benefit from the project. The existing training scheme, materials, certification scheme, procedures and infrastructure will be transferred to the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Italy, and Portugal. The Train-the-trainer events will be organized for trainers and tutors from all the partner countries (at least 18 trainers certified). The competencies of the teachers will be improved and clearly linked Initial VET to competencies required in SME's, Enterprises, Public Authorities, NGO's, etc. Pilot trainings will take place in the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Italy and Portugal for minimum 100 trainees.
increase transparency and recognition of competencies and qualifications
The clearly defined skill set, the transparency and recognition of qualifications and competencies will be improved by having one European certification for the ResEUr program. Existing Entrepreneurs will be promoted by ECQA as certified professionals for the topic. Transparency of knowledge obtained by them is assured by ECQA infrastructure.
improve quality assurance systems in VET
Project results will comply with existing ECQA quality requirements, quality monitoring is assured. Quality standards are defined and assured for: training materials, exams pool, procedures for trainings and certification, procedures for Training of Trainers and their certification, procedures for accreditation and work of Training organisations, procedures for accreditation and work of Certification organisations.
