Especially for the IT sector the lifelong learning is a most important part to keep employees on a knowledge level, where they can handle the rapid ongoing technological change. In the last time security became more and more important. Viruses, trojans and spionage require a new thinking in computer security. On the other hand the IT moves into the daily life. Securing IT infrastructures is a important necessity for industry and public administration.

The Certified Professional for IT-Security Manager is a logical upgrade of the e-Security Manager. The course offers a foundation level (basic) certificate as well as an advanced level (expert) certificate. Most of the content of the e-Security Manager  is found in the foundation level course but with additional topics such as Secure Communication Technology and Security in Mobile Systems.

The training course "International Certified Professional for IT-Security Management" ( iNTCSM ) is supported by the network "Security und Safety made in Berlin-Brandenburg", SeSamBB e.V ..

The competence cluster SeSamBB is funded by the Ministry of Economics in Brandenburg. The means stem from the Joint Agreement for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures which is an initiative by the federal government and the government of Brandenburg.
